This application enable you to experience ITRI's new "Light ID" technology.
We set in our ITRI showroom located in Hsinchu County, Taiwan and other collaborating facilities.
When you moving the smartphones cameras toward the ITRI LED light box, getting the Light ID, application connect to the internet(may use your mobile data) to link to the information we hide in the LED light box.
It is like scanning a QR code but better, we replace the QR code with LED light. The code hides in light which you can not see by your naked eyes, but using this app your iPhone/iPad can.
Have you try to scan QR code for the further information in exhibition? How close do you need to hold your smartphones against it? Imaging the light project on the exhibit hidden the information you need you just hold your smartphones 1~3 meters away and you can receive same information.
1. Find Light ID source
2. Stay before the light or the object that project by the light
3. Use camera to scan
* Camera shutter sound repeatedly is TOTALLY NORMAL
** Recommend turn on slient mode
*** No photo saved, no memory problem
